Admission is absolutely free.

2.    How much is parking?

Parking is only $3.00 per vehicle per day.

3.   How are the dates chosen for the shows?

The flea market runs for 9 days, always beginning on the Saturday of the second full weekend and running through the following weekend, ending on Sunday.  It is the same weekend as the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Shoot (NMLRS).

4.   How long is the market open each day of the show?

Friendship booths open daily at 9:00 a.m. Vendors shut down for the day anywhere between 7 and 9 p.m.

5.   Does Friendship have food vendors?

Our food vendors serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They generally stay open until at least 9 p.m. in the evening, with a few staying open during the nightly bonfires.

8.   Are there accommodations for disabled persons?

We have parking for disabled persons with easy access to the market, as all roads are paved within the actual market. We can issue “Special Vehicle Permits” for use by the disabled. There is also a portable restroom with disabled access located across from the red barn restroom with ramps for wheelchair accessibility to restrooms with showers.

9.   What is the cost to rent a vendor space?

Outside Space – 20′ x 20′

Inside Space – 10′ x 10′

$200.00 for 9 days or $35.00 per day plus 7.00 percent Indiana Sales Tax

10.   Can I camp at Friendship?

11.   As a vendor, are there restrictions on awning stakes?

Awning stakes longer than 18 inches cannot be used.

12.   Can I bring my pet to Friendship?

If you must bring a pet, please see that your pet does not harass or threaten other people or animals. Exercise must be done on a leash (NO LOOSE ANIMALS) and owners MUST CLEAN UP after their pets.

13.  What type of restroom facilities are there?

Restrooms and showers are available in two buildings, one on the lower end and one located midway above the first.  Portable restrooms are situated in various places on the grounds. Please help keep these areas clean. Trash pickup is daily in the early mornings.  The sanitation company comes to the flea market on Monday and Thursday. You may have your RV pumped for $20.00.

14.  Can I walk around and sell items?

No.  Anyone selling items at the flea market must be registered with the Main Office. You may not take advantage of the market atmosphere by selling items if you are not a registered vendor.  This includes animal sales.

15.  Can I bring a bicycle, skateboard, roller blades, or a scooter?

No, only vehicles registered at the Main Office may use the black-topped streets.  Please restrain children from using these items, as it is unsafe in large crowds like Friendship.

16.   What else is there to do at Friendship when the booths close for the day?

We nave live bands playing on the weekends-always a great time!  Join us in a dance from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.

In addition, there is a live auction held on the last Saturday night across from the main office.  The auction starts at approximately 7:30 p.m.

17.   What time zone is Friendship, Indiana?

18.   Will I be able to get cell phone service or internet access at Friendship?

Friendship is in a rural valley and therefore many cannot get cell service there. Some people with Verizon have luck standing on our hill. We have pay phones available if you need to call out. We have internet service available for purchase. Bring one device per vendor to the Main or Field office for a password.  Use is limited to credit card users and emails–absolutely NO streaming, uploads, or downloads.
