We have been coming for years, have many memories from there, and in turn have made memories for our children, and grad children, and now or great grand ones. one bad experience with an over eager deputy but our enjoyment of the shooting and especialy the flea market is exceptional

This will be my 4th or 5th trip to Friendship. Tons of bargains and some not so bargains. But it's always worth the trip.

We were there on Wednesday, June 16, and had a blast. The weather was perfect and we found all kinds of treasures. Today we saw pictures of the flooding and our hearts go out to all of those affected. Wet canvas is no fun to pack up and take home. We hope everyone was able to save their possessions and get out of the way of the flash flood from the nearby creek. Love, Hugs & Prayers. Hope to see all of you this Fall.

I just love going to friendship. Even when I was a little girl my parents brought me and my brother here. June and September I'm counting down the days to get back down. I was so heartbroken last June . It was cancelled due to the pandemic. I always find so many amazing things. There is definitely something for everyone.

My husband, George & I , set up together at Frienship in 1997. He was a storyteller, Native American dancer & crafter. He was quite the character if you ever met him. . I designed jewelry, clothing and leatherwork, along with chair massage at the shows. We had a blast! We returned a few seasons. George, also known as 'Blackbird', recently passed away in October, after a long illness. Thanks to Driftstone Pueblo for posting their schedule and reminding me of Friendship. It always is dear to my heart, as that was where our journey began. I left with him after that show and never looked back🤠 Sorry to hear of all the send offs in Friendship Country...I have to make it a point to come back up. Have also been wondering about a longtime 'Crazy-Gal' vendor named Toi, who lived in Georgetown area. Anyone know of her?? Thanks to all of you for great times....💜💜

I've attended the flea market so many times that I don't remember! I absolutely love it. It is my favorite place to go ever! And for years I've stopped at the little wooden leather shack to watch "Kevin & Paula Hamm make leather boots, shoes, saddlebags and lots of other leather goods. I would love to have a pair of handmade native indian moccasin boots. And I want someone at freimdship flea market toake them for me..I'm hoping someone will see my entry and get in touch with me so I can finally get a pair of these boots custom made just for me!! Thank you for taking the time to help a girl out! Love the time I've spent at your town and our home away from home!! Hope to show up again in the spring of 2021!

Hello Jan and everyone reading this - In the 21 years that I lived and travelled all of USA from 1989 - 2010 - the best, Joyful and Fun part was this unique cherished place at the 'Crossroads of America'!! - Truly Tom was the King of Friendship, Indiana!! A visit to this website was brought about when a friend in India said that his cousin was married to a Kerr who was Scottish - I always thought that Tom was of German origin? It is a sweet memory, yet very sad, and got a dull ache in heart when I read that both Rosemary and Tom will be no more to visit, if and when I get another chance to visit the USA - but also there is this sense of sadness, yet happiness, in knowing and sharing with the world, the love and Joy both Rosemary and Tom had for each other, and for people of all kinds, from all over the world! Yours is the true American Frontiers, Pioneering 21st century Family - and it is to be celebrated as such, and it continues to be a Joyful place to visit for over half a century! ... it is a motivation for all, in the true American spirit of individualism and freedom...and adventure! Since about 1998 I was a vendor, primarily wholesaling and retailing fine sterling silver jewelry, accessories and home décor - under the banner of Silverline Marketing - New York -[though was resident of Florida] when I started coming to Friendship - and would stay in my high top conversion van by the creek - and mostly rent in building 1. Had made great friends there with Barefoot Jim and other Hippies - and Scott [who had also moved to Florida...]. I would also recommend specially friends with dogs to come stay and vend at Friendship Indiana. I fondly remember getting Tom the most famous sweet Rum from India called OLD Monk!! Then never in my life time forget travelling on I 75 after checking out of a motel in Tennessee [I think] - and that morning there was chaos over all networks on 911- I still continued and set up my booths... If anyone reading this would like to contact me are welcome - and if can suggest what merchandise to get from India - I will consider, be grateful and prepare likewise - Cheers Suneel Founder of Fodors Guide's one favorite quote: The World is a Book Those who do not Travel read only a Page!

My Then Boyfriend(now Husband) introduced me to Friendship in the spring of 2001. I've made the 'pilgramage' at least once a year since then! I'm so happy to see it's open this fall! I will see you soon!!
