First time back this weekend since I was just a kid... Staying the weekend to find Turquoise and fun..
Friendship has been one of the most amazing experiences we have had living in Indiana. We have taken our now 8 yr old granddaughter every year since she was born and can't wait to go every year it is the high light of her summer! And ours to be able to share this with her 💖 I hope there is always a Friendship to share with her children and her grandchildren it is one of those things that always makes you feel like a kid again 💖
Remember years ago when Uncle Tom started to sell at Friendship. He had the best sales ability. He always stood up for me. It is said you are stuck with relatives. I’m glad he was in my life.
Almost time for new leaher projects
Looking forward to visiting for the first time in June.
went in 2018 year before the pandemic hope to make it back soon
I guess 14 years ago I used to live south of Brecksville towards Madison. I moved to Del Rio Texas for a job haven't had a chance to go to the shoot in 14 years and this time I think I'm able to go because my Army Reserve reunion is The Weeknd after Labor Day so I will be able to stay a little while and come to the shoot that I haven't been for over 14 years.
I hope to join the vendors this year.
Loved the pearl spot
Hello Jan!! Mike Rumble here. It's been a long time since I've set up the store up there. I just heard about Tom, very sorry to hear about that. Hope to make up there next year just to attend, I'm not a vendor these days but would still love to stop in and say hello to everyone. Might see you all next year! Until then...
Madelone Woods brought me my first time. In 1987. I have been coming yearly ever since. I have so many memories of Tom. Once I got in an argument with my boy friend at camp. He was so mad he left with the cooler lmao- tom told me I could use his refrigerator he had in his booth area. That weekend and all the ones to follow my kids then built a friendship with Tom.
I remember Tom’s TRADITION - everyone had to DANCE around the fire. You could not stand. After he died. I wanted to keep the tradition in his honor.everyone already KNEW how it was and did it but these few new people were standing in the WAY of being able to follow Tom’s tradition. I nearly got in a fist fight with this girl over it. IDK who it was but one of the regulars knowing what I was doing and supporting me got in between. It would have been quite the show down lmao- I love you Jan- was so good to see you last year. I finally even joined the muzzle load NMLRA.
See you in Sept! Love, Robin Warneke
This will be my first time attending. Heard alot about it! Driving in from Maryland.
Been there found it a wonderful and fun experience the grand children enjoyed it.
Missed last years event…planning ahead now to attend! Hope to one day be a vendor!!! Greatest flea market for unusual items!
Always love the flea market and all the competitions held. I find new things every time! One thing to note... go with cash. The internet is not available down in the valley, merchants are not given the local wifi access, cell service for most carriers is non-existant, and the only ATM there never seems to work. Take cash and you'll be happy for it. Can't wait for the 2023 season!
Would like to know when 2023 will be?
My husband and I are talking about setting up.
FRIENDSHIP IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE! WE MAKE IT DOWN TWICE A YEAR! THANKS KERR
My friend Jerry Nowlin first took us to Friendship years ago. He now lives down there near by. I love to receive every year since, from him, my tee shirt with the Indians , FRIENDSHIP, the year on front. I hope the seller is still there. We don't travel any more, but I remember time well spent in Friendship, Indiana. People around here always ask about my shirt, and I tell them about the World's Largest Flea Market in a place called Friendship.
