I've attended the flea market so many times that I don't remember! I absolutely love it. It is my favorite place to go ever! And for years I've stopped at the little wooden leather shack to watch "Kevin & Paula Hamm make leather boots, shoes, saddlebags and lots of other leather goods. I would love to have a pair of handmade native indian moccasin boots. And I want someone at freimdship flea market toake them for me..I'm hoping someone will see my entry and get in touch with me so I can finally get a pair of these boots custom made just for me!! Thank you for taking the time to help a girl out! Love the time I've spent at your town and our home away from home!! Hope to show up again in the spring of 2021!
Hello Jan and everyone reading this - In the 21 years that I lived and travelled all of USA from 1989 - 2010 - the best, Joyful and Fun part was this unique cherished place at the 'Crossroads of America'!! - Truly Tom was the King of Friendship, Indiana!! A visit to this website was brought about when a friend in India said that his cousin was married to a Kerr who was Scottish - I always thought that Tom was of German origin? It is a sweet memory, yet very sad, and got a dull ache in heart when I read that both Rosemary and Tom will be no more to visit, if and when I get another chance to visit the USA - but also there is this sense of sadness, yet happiness, in knowing and sharing with the world, the love and Joy both Rosemary and Tom had for each other, and for people of all kinds, from all over the world! Yours is the true American Frontiers, Pioneering 21st century Family - and it is to be celebrated as such, and it continues to be a Joyful place to visit for over half a century! ... it is a motivation for all, in the true American spirit of individualism and freedom...and adventure! Since about 1998 I was a vendor, primarily wholesaling and retailing fine sterling silver jewelry, accessories and home décor - under the banner of Silverline Marketing - New York -[though was resident of Florida] when I started coming to Friendship - and would stay in my high top conversion van by the creek - and mostly rent in building 1. Had made great friends there with Barefoot Jim and other Hippies - and Scott [who had also moved to Florida...]. I would also recommend specially friends with dogs to come stay and vend at Friendship Indiana. I fondly remember getting Tom the most famous sweet Rum from India called OLD Monk!! Then never in my life time forget travelling on I 75 after checking out of a motel in Tennessee [I think] - and that morning there was chaos over all networks on 911- I still continued and set up my booths... If anyone reading this would like to contact me are welcome - and if can suggest what merchandise to get from India - I will consider, be grateful and prepare likewise - Cheers Suneel Founder of Fodors Guide's one favorite quote: The World is a Book Those who do not Travel read only a Page!

My Then Boyfriend(now Husband) introduced me to Friendship in the spring of 2001. I've made the 'pilgramage' at least once a year since then! I'm so happy to see it's open this fall! I will see you soon!!
Always a good time and great food.
Hello, My family and I have been coming to Friendship 30 years now. Usually come to both sessions. My 11 year old grandson has " Friendship Fever" and asks when are we going as soon as he realizes its coming up! Over the years we have introduced friends to this wonderful place where great deals can be found and new friendships made. We adore the lady back by the creek who sells Friendship T shirts, we always buy from her. See you soon. Be well.
I have lived in Indiana since 1993 and am only learning of the festival today! I am excited to come out on the 12th and stay the entire day! I love Flea Markets and everything that goes along with a long day of searching for bargains and eating fair food.
Been going to friendship since I was 14. Started setting up with my parents when I was 18 years old. Met my husband there and we started setting up there raised two children there. Friendship is a big part of my life. Met so many people that touched my life seen them come and go. A lot passed away I am now 56 and still visit from time to time but my dad still sets up every year.

Well this September will be my first time attending the flea market which I am absolutely ecstatic about. I've always had this fascination with the town of Friendship and I'm beyond excited and proud to say that this is the year I finally get to experience this beautiful town first hand. Looking forward to a good first time can't wait
Oh IAM so sad to find out about all of them passing away. I love shopping all around there. The little lady in the parking lot was so sweet.
Jan so sorry to know of Tom's wife &Tom's passing .Haven't been able to travel to Friendship in 10 plus years. My bother-in law every year would go to flea market in friendship . He introduced me to Tom and right away I grew a long lasting memory of him. Tom shook my hand and asked if I wanted to hear a joke. My brother-in law passed also in May 2020. Don Kimbler
Don't worry, people are hungry to get out again and it shows. See you this fall ! Friendship, absolutely one of a kind !
I have been coming to Friendship Flea Market for almost 30 years. Such a wonderful place to come, shop, buy,and meet venders. I have made alot of friends there over the years, Jules, John, Melinda, Don, the Stuart boys, Tom, Joe, Diana, Greg, and so very many more. My friend and I would make a vacation 4 to 5 days, stay in a camper, a tent, a motel, in our auto and etc. It was always a Great time, with great buys, trades, dealing, sights, friends, food, drinks, music, dancing, and etc. June and September we were at Our Happy Place, Friendship, Indiana. ❤😃🇺🇸
I sure do miss the Spring meet this year. I can't remember how long I've been going there so it must be well over 20 years. I have always met the nicest people there vendors, locals, bikers, butchers bakers & candlestick makers lol. I alway enjoyed getting a few friends together and hop on the bikes (Harleys) & some Honda's Haha an leading newbies to the meet, The looks on their faces is so GREAT! I even broke down in my car 1 year & the Locals help me get a fan belt & went out of their way to help me fix it. No wonder you named it FRIENDSHIP! Hope to see you in fall meet, Stay safe & free of sickness. (Friendshipolian at heart, Cliff Richmond)
We have been going there for several years and I really enjoy seeing different things every time. I’m also a vendor and I would like to hopefully be setting up in the fall. In the meantime my business is on fb. Fashion Accessories Boutique. I’m not in a group, just a fb page. One thing I’ve noticed there at Friendship is that there is many vendors, however it’s different product. It’s not the same thing even at different location spots.
