Hello Jan!! Mike Rumble here. It's been a long time since I've set up the store up there. I just heard about Tom, very sorry to hear about that. Hope to make up there next year just to attend, I'm not a vendor these days but would still love to stop in and say hello to everyone. Might see you all next year! Until then...

Madelone Woods brought me my first time. In 1987. I have been coming yearly ever since. I have so many memories of Tom. Once I got in an argument with my boy friend at camp. He was so mad he left with the cooler lmao- tom told me I could use his refrigerator he had in his booth area. That weekend and all the ones to follow my kids then built a friendship with Tom. I remember Tom’s TRADITION - everyone had to DANCE around the fire. You could not stand. After he died. I wanted to keep the tradition in his honor.everyone already KNEW how it was and did it but these few new people were standing in the WAY of being able to follow Tom’s tradition. I nearly got in a fist fight with this girl over it. IDK who it was but one of the regulars knowing what I was doing and supporting me got in between. It would have been quite the show down lmao- I love you Jan- was so good to see you last year. I finally even joined the muzzle load NMLRA. See you in Sept! Love, Robin Warneke

Always love the flea market and all the competitions held. I find new things every time! One thing to note... go with cash. The internet is not available down in the valley, merchants are not given the local wifi access, cell service for most carriers is non-existant, and the only ATM there never seems to work. Take cash and you'll be happy for it. Can't wait for the 2023 season!

My friend Jerry Nowlin first took us to Friendship years ago. He now lives down there near by. I love to receive every year since, from him, my tee shirt with the Indians , FRIENDSHIP, the year on front. I hope the seller is still there. We don't travel any more, but I remember time well spent in Friendship, Indiana. People around here always ask about my shirt, and I tell them about the World's Largest Flea Market in a place called Friendship.

Was at Friendship in the Spring of 2022. It was not quite filled with Vendors but we had a good time. I was sad to know the fellow who made tables and benches had passed away, but spoke to his daughter. She was hoping someone could begin building them again. I wish them the best. There was far too many vendors of the same type as well. I'd be nice to get some of the Vendors who've left to come back. Many booths were closed as well. I'm hoping for September's Friendship will be thriving.

June was my first time at Friendship setting up as a vendor. I had an amazing time met a lot of nice people. I can't wait for the fall market. See you then.

I started going to Friendship in 2000. Met some amazing friends, had a powwow in the teepee, was blessed with a medicine bag with items from my friends. Including hair from Bear, one of the friends I'll never forget. That bag was stolen, something I can never replace. Dancing at night if you stay over, I've swam in the creek. Awesome time! Hope to go again in the fall, haven't been in probably 7 years❤️

I’ve been going since the 70s with my parents. So much to see and look at. Friends from around the country. Little Israel is my favorite vendor. She’s been traveling around America forever doing shows. I love to meet folks. Just talk about real America and real places. Good people and great memories. Looking forward to my 1st trip there with my Sydney on my Harley Davidson. She’s a 6 month old Australian Cattledog. She loves to ride with me. If you see us ride through on my Roadglide make sure to say Hello. Stop and chat. I’m in no hurry. Probably camp 1 night again. I like to spend at least 2 days. God bless you all and God Bless Friendship! Amen 🇺🇸 🙏 🇺🇸 🙏

We have a wonderful tradition of going to Flea Mkt every year since 1974. Always looked forward to soft ice cream at Pinky's stand & just saying "hi" to Tom. Grown grandkids are going with us now for more great memories. One granddaughter used to count the dogs at vendor tables & one year was 56. Great memories.
